Cooling Tower
“Power You Can Depend On. Performance You Can Trust.”
Cross World provides custom-built cooling towers for when a generator engine's power output is too large for a standard radiator, or when structural constraints prevent massive airflow around the unit.
When Is a Stand-alone Oil Tank Required?
- Massive Power Output — generally required for large, high-capacity generators producing continuous power at scale
- Confined Space — when the engine room lacks the massive external wall space required for radiator air intake and discharge
- Remote Placement — when the cooling equipment must sit on a high roof or far from a basement-level generator
- Continuous Duty Cycle — essential for prime or continuous power plants running 24/7, where thermal stability is critical
- Low Noise Requirements — selected when high-velocity radiator fan noise cannot be tolerated near the generator room windows
- Extreme Environments — highly effective in hot, humid climates where air-to-air cooling efficiency drops significantly
Remote Radiator
A remote radiator cools a generator when the generator is in a space where a regular radiator will not fit beside it. Placed at a distance from the generator, a remote radiator cools the system and keeps it from overheating. Cross World provides custom-built remote radiators designed to cool diesel engines of varying capacity sizes, made with strong steel construction and high-efficiency electric motors.
Remote Monitoring
Power generators may not run often, but when needed, it is critical that they perform properly. Remote monitoring works as a powerful tool for preventive maintenance, using a network of sensors that work with remote computers to monitor all aspects of a backup power system — identifying problems in advance and saving businesses money, time, and potential downtime.
Cross World offers remote monitoring services on all new backup power installations.
